Blackhawk Baseball collaborates with Esteban Maldonado and his Baseball With Purpose program and USA Baseball to select players to represent the USA in competition against Latin countries.

 

In the summer of 2019 we took players to the Dominican Republic

for the Punta Cana International Tournament. The USA teams matched up against teams from the Dominican, Venezuela, and Puerto Rico. Playing against international competition is an experience players won't forget. It gives them a chance to experience baseball in a different setting, to see the passion that latin countries have for the game and match up against some of the best players from these countries. In the end, the players bond over the game they all love and leave with friendships that transcend baseball.

We also bring baseball gear to donate as many of the players in latin countries don't have proper equipment.
